another question on this topic, how much space do you have under the fiberglass for the screws?

i'm ghetto riggin my bottle on there, i made a metal 2x4" block to raise the front becuase it was hitting the rear cup holders, i'd rather ghetto it up than spend money on a nice mounting kit....not like i'm trying to win a car show or anything. anyways i chose that spot because of theknob access. cant afford one of the remote openers so yeah have to just do it manual. and also the pressure guage. to keep an eye on it. that's my reasons why i chose there. i wanted in the rear spare tire place. but i like to keep an eye on it so it has to stay up front. i dont do street races so the bottle would be in the garage most of the time, only the rings and line would be present the next time i get pulled over. anways to much typeing so i'm done.

Cost is a good reason since it save the cost of the remote opener and the remote gague. That is almost $400 worth right there. I'm not one who will go out of my way to hide it thought so that wasn't a concern.

I have been wondering the same question. I would love to have it between the rear seats, but don't know if there are any nitrous laws in florida.

Yep, the biggest con is visibility. Nothing like getting stopped for no front plate and then having 5 cops on the seen thumbing through DOT books to figure out if nitrous is legal or not (it's legal here). Another con is that it's in direct sunlight, even with a bottle blanket you may still see the pressure rise above 1,500psi on a hot sunny day.

FWIW: It's ok when a cop calls himself ignorant, but when you rub it in his face and take him to school, it's not ok.

It was that particular cop, he said he was ignorant when it comes to nitrous (his exact words) so I agreed and just went off on him, he was pissed but so was I after sitting there for 20 minutes. I think he was alittle embarassed the next day when my dad asked him what the **** his problem was in the town shop (my dad's the town mechanic).
