Newbie's first time TNT install pics

I tried installing my 5/8 Nitrous Pressure Gauge in my vent, but it wont go in flush like the ones in the photos. And it looks like the angle that yours are in are what makes it go in flush with the dash, mine dont look like they are going in that way.
