Correct....

But if you can take one application off and bolt another one on using the same nitrous flow jet and the same airfuel gaining more hp with the new part..... Its easy to see one is doing a better job.

We made 210rwhp tonight off a NX kit jetted for 200rwhp with a single nozzle tonight. The A/F during the run was 10.6-10.8 with 20* of timing to be SAFE! This is a big motor car though, not sure if that really effects it. If we would have had a chance we would have probably put the plate on but this was an over night install (which is fkn beautiful thanks to Chris @ MTI). Regardless once I sprayed for the first time a few years ago both my brother and I have become junkies Oh well it left me with an 8sec LS1 and hopefully this Sunday my brother a 9 sec 6-spd LS1 Vette.

Regardless they both work really well. I'd do the plate though just because it looks good

Hmm,
We would never purposly mislead anyone.

Is it possible that you may have our company mixed with another. Our Nitrous Outlet 1/8 nozzle has always flowed 250hp and the Nitrous Outlet 1/16 nozzle has always flowed 200 Hp. The NX shark will flow 250HP and the NX pirahna will flow 200. Most all NOS wet nozzles max out at 150HP
With Hard line I see no issue unless you did not have a solenoid that could flow enough or the NOS nozzle.

What is the name on your order. Ill look it up to see what you had?
Thanks
Dave

To get this back on topic a little for the thread starter.. IMO I wouldn't run a plate or a single nozzle for anything over a 200 shot personally At that point you really should be running a DP setup so that you can tune each cylinder as needed and not rely on the intake to evenly distribute. These ls1 intakes are known for not doing that all that well, and personally if I'm dropping 250 hp of nitrous into my motor I want each cylinder getting the same amount of it, not poor #7 to get hammered with more then the rest.

The nozzle or a plate will be great for anything up to 150 hp, I went the Nos plate route myself only because my shop knows the jetting 100% for that setup and we knew it would be right for the tune, etc.etc. but any of them will work at that level I think. I personally will never attempt to put more then 150 thru the plate myself, if it comes time that I want to go faster then a 150 shot thru this plate will take me (already has taken me to 9.61 spinning, and the tune was overly safe, at 3500 lbs) then I will go to a directport and never look back. But, I feel that once I have the car to 3200, and we've worked on the tune a touch more the car probably could see a good bit more. Goal is to have a 100 shot get the car to 9.50 on a decent track/weather day, it's done 9.77 on that already so it's not too far off where I want it, my weight reduction alone of 300 lbs is surly going to get me there I think.

Quick Reply: stick with the NX nozzle or get a Nitro Dave's plate
