Daily Driver Bottle Question
i am stationed in ok and i have my bottle mounted in the spare tire well and the pressure still peaks at like 15 to 16. that is one day when it is around 100 or so it was worse when i had it were the sun was on it all day it would max out the gauge on the bottle!!

my girls car has the bottle in it 24/7 365.
never had an issue, the vett has it in all the time also, but it spends most of the week in the garage.
my bottles sit in my trailer 24/7 365 there atleast 5-8 bottles filled all the time, and havent had an issue. you should be ok

I was wondering the same thing, since where i work my car will be in direct sun light unless it rains. And i plan on mounting the bottle in the lump between the rear seats. Last thing i wanted was to walk to my car and find the disc ruptured and emptied out my tank. I think if i keep a towel covering it through out the day it should be fine right?

I don't see how a bottle blanket or layin a towl over it helps that much. I though that would help with my MBA shift ****. Boy was I wrong. That thing still gets hot enough to burn my hand even with the windows cracked, tinted windows & a towel folded up thick & drapped over it.
The temperature in car will rise way over the temp outside if the windows are up, which in turn should heat the bottle about the same as the MBA shift ****. It just like its metal sittin in a oven. This in turn will work like a bottle heater thats been left on. I know some might see that as a little much for a example but its the same idea kinda if you think about it.
I would leave the windows down if your parked @ work & can keep an eye on your car or take the bottle into work with you if possible. Or like stated above leave it at home until it needs to be in the car.

I keep my bottle in the car at all times. Here in AZ the temps see over 100 degrees on a regular basis. The bottle pressure will definitely hit 1500-1600psi + very quickly. What I do to keep the pressure down is those re-useable ice packs http://www.thermos.com/product_catal...bcategoryID=16 and a bottle blanket to insulate the cold inside. It works great for when its really hot and keeps the pressures down to a safe level usually won't go over 1300 psi with the ice packs and blanket on.
