Default stand alone fuel cell

Does anyone make a stand alone cell that sits where the battery/overflow bottle sits? Hoping to find a 2or3 gallon cell.

Dont think they hold that much, but yes. Nitrous Daves does for sure, and I think HSW also has one that fits there. Both are excellent sponsors------------>

You can hack that spot up to get a larger 2 gallon cell to fit. But you'll find most will try to put in a 1 gallon cell or even smaller. I had a 2/3 gallon cell on my car and it worked great. Check with the sponsors as they can put together a good package for you.

It's a little bigger than 1gal. It's also a little on the expensive side, but well worth it!

Yes we have a 1 gallon that goes where the battery was. The stock battery hold down is what bolts it in.
A 1 gallon is plenty.

As far as I know. No one else has knocked off the idea on this spot yet. But I could be wrong.

I am worried about 1ga. not being enough fuel for a night out street racing. Can anyone give any input on how long 1 gal. usually last and how big of a shot they are using.

Thanks John

Keep in mind your stand alone will just be supplying fuel to the nitros setup..

I think you would be fine with a smaller cell. The cell will outlast your N2O bottle, and if your swaping multiple bottles on a night out you could always re-fill the cell at that point.

Ours sits in the middle of the fuse boxes. It's a complete kit that includes the brackets to relocate the fuse boxes along with a fuel pump bracket and a few other things, like Teflon hose. Here are a few picts:
