I already got a dry kit with NX solenoid but hey if you could make a LS1 based kit it would be a great idea.

It would be a smart move to make specific dry kits for cars that can use them. Such as all LSx based cars and 03 Cobras and whatever else can use them.

It may displace a small percentage of your wet kit sales...but overall I think it would increase overall sales a bunch since many guys that want a dry kit AND like NX products dont have an option for anything NX. There is a TON of dry kits sold in the LS1 world alone thats for sure.

Now this will not be just any old run of the mill dry kit, and I am sure the price may be a little higher than most are used to seeing. But lets face it, R&D costs, and building a bad *** part will thats worth a little more coinage. I already have an idea and somewhat of a print laid out, and I have the persons in mind for the testing of the unit. But again I do need some feed back to even gets this off the ground. Time line before parts go out to the customers . One step at a time.

Ricky

I think that unless your kit is 'better' than the competition out there that having a higher price may hurt your sales in the long run.

There are so many sponsors now offering everything from 'good to awesome' in dry kits, that when choosing a kit, $$$ plays a big role in the decision on what to buy. The customer service is top notch with MANY of our sponsors and that point is hardly a consideration with so many of them doing it so well... (customer service)

With so many sponsors (like you) eager and willing to help guys like me that have not even really spent a dime with their company, I think that it is safe to say that 'great customer service' is beginning to become more or less the 'norm' lately. Sure there are a few 'bad apples', but for the most part, I believe that most of the n2o dealers around here actually 'care' about their customers and the feedback that the customer gives about their products and services...

Price makes a big difference when all else is equal.

Hope to see many more new products from you guys Ricky, It likely won't be long before you get some of my $$$ as well. Thanks for everything you do for us. We appreciate you!

Do dry kit work on LT1's as they do LS1's.Ive heard the mass air doesnt work the same as far as telling the pcm to dump more fuel when dry nitrous hits the mass air meter.

You are correct. The lt1 uses the spike the fuel pressure trick to increase the amount of fuel coming out the injector. They do this with an aux fuel pump. The problem is a couple things, small injectors, weak pump and a computer that is not as advanced as the ls1/ls2/ls6/ls7.

I would recomend you to do one. You can use this car as your seller.....
These guys pretty much use NX for everything from nitro dave.
RPM went 5.62@120 with a 2960lb Camaro
1.29 60ft on drag radial.
382ci with 2 dry kits on it with 60lb injectors

Will maybe not a new spin hell might not even work but I have the lay out and I am moving forward with this project.
BigDaddyz28 hit the nail on the head. About pricing
I realize that more people would purchase if the systems were cheaper or more in line with what others do. But lets face it
I not planning on follwing that paved road to dry heaven. Price will not come into my thinking until I have a part working on a car. At that point I will review what it cost to make and that price will drive the final costing at the end.
Stay tuned to this channel for more updates.

Ricky,
How about something big, a 5 stage that comes on based on a combination of rpm and tps. That way its not all or nothing when peddling the car
How about a closed loop fuel system running off the FJO wideband. Have a stand alone fuel system and a second set of injectors for the race gas?
I want to try something new. This is the dry kit I want. I guess ill just have to pony up for BS3 this winter. I could sell my direct port, maximizer, wideband, HPTuner and start over again.

I think a dry system from NX would be a good idea. I'm sure Ricky has something up his sleeve that will set the system apart from those already offered on the market, which will in turn make the system worth the cost (whatever the cost ends up being).
