Ricky, maybe give us some little tid bits of info? what ya thinking? Maybe a dry plate of some sort before the MAF? it could be a progressive 360* for a great MAF reading? Or NX's straight shooter dry fogger coming into a plate from both sides? That way it could be close to maf, like a 2piecs style, but just one piece. It's endless the ideas and possibilities.

That would solve the "where to put the nozzle?" and "what type of nozzle should I use?" issues...

I don't think a dry kit with one style nozzle is the answer. Vinny showed me the NX dry nozzles he had, it was a 90° (what I was looking for), but I already had a bunch of NOS style jets and the intake mounts on my car (1/16 NPT) vice I believe the 1/8 NPT the NX ones were...To switch was a tad more expensive than just switching 1/16 nozzles and using the existing parts/jets I already had.

NX has everything to do a basic dry nozzle style kit now, its just not packaged as such.

Maybe Ricky can post a pic of the NX straight shooter nozzle. It has quite a fogging effect, the only of it's kind as far as I know.

Beer we have both 1/8 and 1/16 nozzles.

Here is the 1/8 nozzle. and its pattern. at high flows the pattern almost reach 180' side to side.

At this time we have all the parts to build dry systems. As a company we just have not desided to do so publicly. Nitrous Outlet sells a dry kit using all of our parts a couple of different ones I believe.

Stand tuned. the prototype is finished, and flow testing has begun. Another reason not to show a picture of the unit, is its ugly right now, I want a clean sexy system before showing the LS1 tech members. yall will be the first to see, hear, and have the chance to purchase it, before anyone else does.

Default dry kit

I had a dry kit on my 2000 ss and it ran fine but ive always heard dry kits tend to run lean , so if you can do some testing and give some feed back i would get a dry kit again .

OK here is a little udate. First prototype is build and is being tested. Now I strongly say first prototype. ITs not per-dy but should show me a yea or a nea, to build a first artical.
The difference, prototypes are thrown together to validate you R on the right road.
Artical is from your machine shop to make sure they can reproduce your part, but sexier.
Stay tuned I hope to have something as in test result in the near future.

Although not the kit Ricky is talking about, I have converted to the NX dry nozzles, I have tried two other nozzles (one a 45° pattern, the other a 90°) and anything above a 50 shot my AFR goes 12.5 or higher. Once I get the wideband up and running again, I will jet the NX Dry higher and see how it goes, but the SOP meter says the Dry is working way better than before, jetted for 50 I can feel it hit, where before I could not really feel it.

Anyways here are some Pics on my Blackwing, Nozzles are NX Dry, Hoses and Y fitting HSW.

Come on, quite teasing us. Get that bad boy into production, so I can run it in the rest of our Car Club Challenge series. I will give ya a real world testing, and then the NX Premium Dry kit will be selling like rubbers to a hooker. Come on spill the beans, however, I allready know the results as there are no dumbazz's at NX.
