Just curious how many people are spraying 150 shot on a stock internal motor. Did you do anything else? Different tuning, etc?

I have not sprayed my FRC yet but I plan on it next week after its gets tuned. 150 shot and 110K miles on the clock.

30,000 miles and 150 threw her all day on all stock motor, right now with the cam I have, I pulled 2 degrees of timing via, hp tune. get the fuel pump and if you can afford it, not needed but by a boostapump is nice to have a well. you should be fine if you get a FPSS.

Doing a 175 now with a safe tune. Only the cam and associated stuff has been changed internally.
When/if it goes I am planning on a 383 or 402 forged motor.

my progression was 150, 175, 200 & 250. Tuned for each, tr6's up to 200 then colder, fuel was VP performance unleaded for everything after 150.

150 on stock internals, I ran it untuned for a long time. My tune now still has stock timing though. Upgraded fuel pump and have colder plugs.

So, most of you have run 150 shot on completely stock motor, main suggestion would be to upgrade the fuel pump.
