FJO Question
On the FJO controller how does first gear lockout work? does it sense a drop in rpm and assume that you are in second gear? I dont think it has a trigger wire for a 1st gear lockout ? Thanks in advance for the help.
Correct you have to complete the window. ie: 3000-6000rpm once then it will activate once your back in the window.
If you short shift and don't exit the window it will not activate. On the other hand if you spin and don't pedal it quick enough you will end up getting nitrous in first gear too.
Hope this helps.

like monte said above, the lockout works simply by allowing you to pass once through your rpm window without activating. when your rpm falls back into the window second time around hang on here it comes. the trigger does not have to be used to accomplish this. you can simply let it rpm based activation. in your program you can use a variety of differnt set ups and even bring it on progressivly if you so desire. kind of a neat feature. if you have any problems shout back or call gerald at fjo, im sure youll find him very informative
