Default street traction with n20

I know with the system armed that if at atraffic light i floor it when it goes green i prob just spin or fish tail.so what is the best way to get traction on the streets with n20?I thought maybe let it roll for alittle bit (normal driving) then floor it when I hit about 20 mph, or isit not possible? Is n20 only good at the track? Can i even use it on the streets?I want to get n20 but not if I can only use it at the track.

get sticky tires and suspension and launch your heart out....your never gonna get perfect traction on the street but you can still launch nicely

Default window switch

I had aTNT wet kit w/ a full throttle switch and an MSD window switch (set at 3k). Nitrous doesn't activate unless you floor it and the RPM is 3k or higher (you can switch the chip to whatever 3200, 3400 etc).

And invest in some decent drag radials

Wink

Of course you can, just get a good window switch, arm the system, and set you window switch to kick the nitrous on at 2900rpm and shut off at 5800 and you safer and ready to spray.

Traction is limited in my vette when I hit the system. Just waiting for a nice set of DR's to help put the power to the ground.

LCAs will help with some wheel hop. A progressive controller turns the solenoids on and off very fast (pulses the solenoids) to bring the power in gradually, instead of "all at once". They have gotten pretty inexpensive; our Advantage controller is $124.99.

I have traction issues on just motor, and I run 315 35 nitto DR's all the time. But beefing up the suspension for better traction helps. The only way my DR's do any good is if I lower the pressure to 18-17 psi and I dont like doing that, feel like I'm gonna mess up my wheels.

i added in a momentary push button switch. the nitrous will come on only when the main on off switch is on, the throttle is wide open(microswitch), and when i push the button down. i dont' use a window switch, but it's probably good safety to have one.
when i stop spinning on motor, i can hit the juice and if i spin on juice i just let on and off of the button untill i stop spinning, then i can keep the button held down.

my car is weaksauce... it doesnt blow the tires off in second gear. my M/T are sticky as hell when they are hot. ill have to try spraying in first gear and see if they hold.

THe best solution is suspension and Tires.

The next sulution would be our digital window switch witrh Built in any gear lock out. This way you can set it not to spray in first gear.

Or we have many progressive controllers to choose from.

Progressive controllers are a great way to control your nitrous output to manage traction.
