Factory plugs at a whopping .67 gap!

Factory plugs at a whopping .67 gap! I swapped to my tr6's today and the ac delco factory spark plugs had a ginormous .67 gap!?! Is this unusual? I gapped my tr6s to a .33 for my 100 shot and the car seemed to run fine. My car was tuned before with those factory spark plugs, will I need to re-tune my car to such a big difference of a gap?
