Some issues dyno'ing my car....
Well I went to the dyno today and ran it NA and with a 100shot....had a major issue....when we did the air/fuel...it got up as high as 16.1 but never below 15.5...and sad to say....this was NA!!!!! So the first run with that combo he let off early and I only got a whopping 295rwhp with 300torque...We thought maybe we should do a n2o run to see if the nitrous would make up the difference for the fuel and see if the MAF was doing it's job......the air/fuel never changed and I got 356rwhp and 402lbs/torque....letting off of it around 4500rpms each time.
Now...as excited as I am to know that once we get these "lean" issues taking care of I'm concerned about a couple of things.....
1. Why would a stock LS1 run that high NA?
2. Could Descreening my MAF be a reason?
3. One everything is perfect with the air/fuel what can I expect NA and n2o?
I will say this...I have a 2000 WS6 and pulled my EGR off and had a friend run LS1edit to either bypass or turn it off...I don't know what else he might have done....or if he turned anything else off but could something like be a reason for my issues?
Let the advice commence...and thanks in advance fellas.

The wideband on the dyno could have been off. Or you friend could have leaned you out. Do you use a air filter that uses oil? If you do look at the MAF and see if any made it's way onto the wires.

Descreening the MAF should not make it run that lean at all. Although there are reports in the past of it leaning out, I have never seen one running lean, and definately not like that. He may have inadvertently leaned out your PE, you may not have actually went into PE, or like Matt said the WB could be wrong. If there is an exhaust leak, then that will definately give you readings like that, or any vacuum leaks.

take a look at the MAF wires. some times a "aftermarket" air cleaner will coat the 3 sensor wires with some oil then dust/dirt sticks to them and all the sudden your a/f ratio gets lean.
this happened to me!

While at the dyno you should have had the tuner(?) diagnos the problem. Check for thrown codes? Clean maf like said. get it on a tuner program and figure out what is causing this, not safe this way for sure.

That's pretty ballsy spraying with an NA A/F that high (I understand what you guys were thinking though). Definitely just hook up to a programmer and see what's going on. Even if it would have turned out good on spray, you don't want to be that lean off bottle...

Well like I said...we did a run with n2o to see if the MAF was doing it's job...seem to be actually doing it cuz it didn't change the A/F....
What worries me is that it ran so high NA.....the shop has an SCT programmer that does not yet have diagnostics for my car....it's supposed to so he is contacting SCT to get them.....that and he does have a guy that uses dyno time in exchange for LS1 edit that will probably check out the diagnostics.
Could it be anything else like maybe injectors possibly that could cause it to run soo damn high? I'm sure when we run the diagnostics if there's any issues we'll find them but I'm curious what is he gonna look for?
Thanks for the input guys....once everything is back to normal it seems like with 100shot I'm gonna expect some pretty decent numbers. Hell even NA it seems like it'll get some more HP.

My A/F was stuck at 14.0 N/A and 14.0 on the spray (dry shot). The A/F never changed until I hand cleaned the MAF sensors..... mine were black and they should be white with strips. After the cleaning A/F dropped to 13.5 N/A and 12.0 on the spray. All this was monitered by my WideBand Commander A/F pcm
I used electical cleaner (radio-shack) and used a small chunck of coral sponge to "gently" wipe until clean.
