Small update, but everything counts!
Got a new best this weekend, went a 9.49 @ 141.16 on a 1.32 60'. I decided to put a slightly larger jet in the dry kit, went from a .51 to a .62. She picked up basically a full mph in the 1/8th, went almost 115, but was down in the 1/4. I think the bottle pressure just dropped too much, so before I go out again, i'm gonna set both bottles up together to try and help her keep the pressure up.
Now onto the bad news (could've been worse). Car was running great and then all the sudden on my third run, I launch, hit second and right after hittin second I hear a loud pop and see a flame under the hood, I immediately lifted, threw to neutral and shut her down. Coasted to the end of the track and pushed her off to the side. My buddy drove over, we pulled the hood off and I was expecting to see a blown up intake, but everything looked perfect, so we started her up and she was idling and running fine, so I cruised back to the trailer and started pullin plugs. All the plugs on the pass side looked good, get to the drivers side and go to pull the first plug and it isn't goin anywhere. So we just start crankin on it to get it out. It basically melted itself into the head. We finally got it out and of course it took the threads with it and the plug was totally demolished! Pulled the other 3 on the drivers side and they looked perfect. So a bunch of buddies from a local board I frequent that I was meetin for the first time helped me get her up on the trailer (thanks for all the help guys!) and I called it a night. Came home this mornin and pulled the head off. Cylinder wall looks good and piston looks good. There was a bunch of **** sittin on the piston, so I did my best to clean it all out of there, but everything should be ok. The head is goin to the machine shop tomorrow to get the thread fixed and first day off after I get it back she'll be back together and hopefully running strong as ever!!!
So i'm happy I got a new best and very happy I didn't have major damage from the plug goin and then the backfire from it. One question though, anyone have any idea what could have caused it, so I can try and avoid it in the future? I mean all the other plugs looked beautiful, just out of nowhere, the one decided to die!
Anyways, sorry about the big *** post, just wanted to post up an update!
PS - I should've known something was gonna go bad last night, first pass I went to make the damn transbrake solenoid stuck, very glad I didn't **** anything up from that, let go of the button and nothin except the nitrous hittin and sprayin while i'm standin still! Got it workin and went right back out and got the 9.49 pass.

nice runs!
the plug issue sounds like a lean spike. maybe a pos in one of the nossles, maybe a pos in one of the injectors. pull the basket out of that cyleders injector, check that. be sure your lines are clean.
other then that, check to be sure the plug wire and coil are good.
good luck.
