If it a wet kit you'll need a 255 fuel pump(in tank). I would also get a window switch if it's not included with your kit, more so if you have an M6.

I almost foregot you will also need to change your plugs to a colder range. I use TR6's.

A prayer...

But really, a fuel pressure gauge is a nice item to have. Does the kit come with a Window Switch?

You will NOT NEED a new fuel pump if yours in in good shape although it is a good idea.

I consider these items mandatory for safe use:"
window switch
one step colder plugs.

@150 a good tune will help ALOT

I put HUNDREDS of LBs of N20 through stock and near stock LS1 engines without issue.Shots ranging from 50hp to 250hp.Brutal *** whippings on a daily basis.
You just have to make sure you take every practical precaution and be on top of maintenance.

Im running a 150 Wet shot ( rated at the weels) STOCk internals, STOCK fuel system.

Got it dynoed and tuned ..A/f Is dead on the money, duty cycle is fine fuel pressure is fine.

I'm running TR6 plugs and have some timing taken out through the RPM band. Im putting 52# injectors and TD's,ORY and a dump next week then its time to step up

98's have had issues with their pumps crapping out. It would be the smart thing to do, then you wouldn't have to worry about it.

I would get a purge kit, so you can make 100% sure this is nitrous in the line.
I would get a nice toggle switch system installed. (Activate on, purge, heater, etc)
I didnt chang my fuel pump or injectors...but if uoi go dry, you probaly will need injectors at least.

You DO need some help for your fuel system. End of story.

Just because I can run across the freeway and not get hit doesnt mean you will...

I have a '98 and had zero issues. Sprayed 150 for over a year on the stock pump. Then switched to a walbro 255.

Sprayed 250 on a stock pump on an '04 Silverado SS.No,I'm not joking and *No*, I don't recommend this to anyone. It was done without issue though.

Set-up kits that were sprayed 150 on stock pumps on 2 other 99+ F-bodies.
I also set-up kits on other F-bodies with walbro 255s.

The pump is a GREAT idea but NOT neccessary as long as everything is working properly.

Your results may vary I guess...

Well some people die while taking a crap due to aneurysm. Should every get checked for an aneurysm to prevent dying on the crapper?

If you're at risk you certainly should. If your risk factors are in line you're spending alot of time worrying about something when you probably don't have to.

The stock pump woks fine@150 when the engine is otherwise near stock. Simple as that.So the stock pump as long as it is working properly is not a hindrance.

An upgraded pump is a GREAT idea. Telling people you NEED one for a 150 when the motor is otherwise near stock is false.
