Question FPSS - where to put

I just read a post where the advice is to NOT put the FPSS between the FPR and the fuel solenoid. Obviously the other place would be before the regulator. Will someone give a second opinion on this advice?

Thanks.

I attached mine directly to the fuel rail via a provided T adapter that came with the FPSS. The T adapter had two sides to screw the FPSS into and I just capped the other side with the provided cap. Then put the fuel line to the end of the T adapter.

Make sense?

Am I correct in that both places you two have described put the fpss after the pressure regulator or do I need to look things over better?

This is on my LT1 engine btw. Thanks for replying!

I'm not sure how the fuel rails are on the LT1. But when I get home from work tonight, I'll take some pictures of my setup and post them so you can see what I'm talking about.

Do you have fuel rails? LT1 motors may be different.

Thanks Jon! Yes, there be fuel rails as I removed them when I did the intake manifold repair. I'll take some pictures myself and post them up so you or anyone reading can point to a good location. Now to put on my flame retardant fire suit and prepare to face the inferno....

thanks everyone!

Here is a picture of how I have my FPSS setup! As you can see the T valve manifold or whatever you want to call it is directly screwed onto the fuel rail! and the FPSS is screwed into one of its openings.

As you can see, I'm in the middle of a power steering pump swap because my old one took a ****! But you can get the point.
