Default interesting meet with a boost fanatic

a little rant.

i went to the store to buy some beer. i pull up to the shell station and a black 02ish mustang is there pumping gas. no mind on my part. there turds. even for my truck. i park, go in, get my beer and as i head to my truck, the guy says "hey, what ya got in that truck" i respond with just a 5.3l. hey says yea it sounds pretty healthy. can he take a look. which i don't care if i'm about to race you for money. anyone is ok to look at my engine. it's nothing special. h/c bolton 5.3l

guy sees nitrous line. traces it all the way to a noid. big whoop. then says, ah you cheat. i'm like, what. how do i cheat. he says i cheat cause i have nitrous. then he goes on to say how real dragracers build cars for boost and all this jazz. at this point i'm humoring this guy. he goes on to tell me all about his 4.6 with vortechs supercharger. ok. i lost to a vortech charged mustang. on motor by about 5 cars. ecsb truck n/a vs a bolton vortech mustang. it's expected.

but this tool says if he and i race he'll skull "u"k me. i offer up to go and he says no. cause i cheat and i'll spray him. wtf. i'm clueless as to what this guy was on. how is using nitrous cheating.

some people are wach man. ecsb with nitrous and i cheat. hmm, wonder how he'd do with that 4.6l without the superdupercharger.

why do people think nitrous is cheating? it's beyond me

Nitrous is a mod like any other.
I don't know why some people think it's cheating, and when you ask them to explain why they feel that way, they can't.

Its just an easy excuse for the reason you would woop that ***. Tell him you won't spray if he'll cut the belt off that vortech. I wonder how many "real" drag cars have n2o ? I would bet more spray than have boost.

This guy in a grand national with a monster turbo said the same thing to me and wouldnt race me because i was cheating with a nitrous setup .

I asked him , how is it cheating when you know what i have and you can see it ?

Even after a 15-20 minute conversation he still concidered it cheating to spray .

I dont understand these ppl .

I'm sure it got the "cheating" name cause people can and will hide it and say they are n/a.

Unlike boost which is nearly always heard and seen.

They say its cheating because they are STUPID. They are stuck with the will I only 5lbs of boost and you make power so your cheating.
Just like a card game, you win alot your cheating.
or you make more money, your cheating.
or your caught with bobby joes, wife, ooopppss ok that ones cheating.

Good thing he did not race you he would have lost, sound like it was a very young kid, whos sack hadden fallen yet.

I hear that a lot too. I talk to some people about spraying and they always say it's taking the easy way or cheating. I tell them, show me a mod I can do for $500 or so and get about 100 hp safely. It's not taking the easy way, it's taking the economical and logical way if you ask me.

Nitrous is a power adder, just the same as turbo/sc. To say that one is any different than the other is hypocracy and ignorance.

I hate ppl like that. Little sissy's. Ran into a few of them myself, and once they say "cheating" I know whatever they have they bought and pay for wrench time opposed to those of us working on our own rides and blasting sick times off at the track.

Happens when they know they suck Somebody told me once, Hey take out your nitro, and put street tires and lets see how It goes, so I said Man This is my car, whatever is on it, stays there, whats the point of investing thousands of $$$ if you want to race stock engines, they all look at the bottle like wow, so you want to give a shot? haha neva and having jets of 150 I told him I only had 50 shot to try to make him change his mind and nah walked away
wuuuzz m.. f..rr.
