Default Weird hissing.

I opened my bottle jus to see if everything was copasetic. I turned the bottle on a bit and I heard a weird hissing noise coming right before the purge solenoid. I believe it was coming from were the main feed line meets the purge noid. I know its tight enough because i was cranking on it. Would teflon paste do away with the hissing or what? Thanks

yes...you should use teflon paste on all the fittings to ensure proper seal. goodluck.

is it leaking from pipe thread or flared?

If its pipe definately use the teflon past or the thread sealer. be sure to let it dry for a bit before putting pressure on it. Also...once its set or dry...do not spin that piece ever again or you will induce a leak by breaking the bod of the sealer.

If its flared AN fitting its supposed to seal on its own. I would relive the pressure...take it apart and clean up the mating surfaces a bit and put it back together tightly.
