Well we threw the SS on the dyno today. On motor it did 387rwhp/368rwtq cam/headers/ls1 intake. On the 100 jets jetted rich it did 465rwhp/454rwtq, the a/f spiked up in the 14's and wouldnt drop. Im running a 100% stock 99 fuel system, Im gonna throw a walbro in it and head back. There was maybe 800psi of pressure as well, running kinda low. My clutch is also slipping and you can see it on the dyno. So plan is to throw a new clutch in it, and a bigger pump and get back on the dyno. I think I should see 500rwhp easy once my issues are sorted out, what do you guys think?
dynoed mine last saturday. went N/A first and that was 15.1 so we didnt even try the spray.
kinda curious as to how much u are leaving on the table, will give me an idea as well. my pump will hopefully be put in on saturday, then heading back to the dyno.
but they were telling me i should see atleast 20rw on motor. so maybe a lil less for u;
gl, hope u get ur issues sorted out

What are you using for tuning? I know someone that thought their fuel system was needing replacing, but found out later the PE wasn't set right! Food for thought.

It was tuned by G-Force with LS1 Edit. On motor it was a solid 12.9-13.0 all the way, the a/f I got on gas was with the NX reccomened 100 jets. I guess 80rwhp and 100rwtq is good but my tuner said once I get a pump in there and the a/f is dialed in it would do alot better. I think im just gonna throw in the walbro and go from there. The **** that pisses me off is how the clutch wouldnt hold it, on the way home it was slipping bad. It's a old school spec 3 with maybe 15k miles...

Yea, I am hoping this last round of mods will get my car where I want it. This whole nitrous plan had cost me a bit more than I wanted. $625 for the kit, $500 for install, $550 for new clutch and walbro, $350 to install then, and finally $75 for a retune, lol. I just hope i can look back at the end and say it was worth it, haha.

The stock motor held up great, it was actually my mistake on why I ended up building the motor, but no regrets whatsoever! I started hearing a knock one day after I spray'd the car and I was almost home, so I kept driving and it was gettin louder and louder, and it sounded just like rod knock, so I figured **** it, I wanted to build the motor, so I just started buyin everything and didn't even look around to see if anything else could've been the cause. Well, I pulled the motor and started takin it apart and immediately found my knock!!!! The bolts that held the flexplate on had backed out and were hand loose from all the hard launches off the tbrake on spray (i'm assuming that's what caused it), when we took it all apart, everything looked in awesome shape! So this time we impacted those bolts in to make sure they don't back out again, the first time I torqued 'em to spec.
