Could be stock fuel pump.regulator playing catch up and just making a microsecond of leanness, the NXL kit did this when it first hit the market, nothing to panic about.
i did do that on the freeway, made a short run in third, it bogged. then made a second run in third right after and it didnt bog. i cant see how its a purge issue because it purges out the n2o like it should and makes a solid cloud after a second or two.

i know i havnt given the best of details, because i really havnt had a lot of time to go make some pulls.

i can scan the o2 voltage next time i spray it. i dont have a way to get fuel pressure. when i do a run, ill post up what happens. i shouldnt have to work a double tomorrow too so i will do it tomorrow

Yea Cat , sounds like the stock fuel pump to me and its a "99" so yea .

I bet he is starving the fuel rails on the hit .

If it does it at various nitrous pressures then it has to be the fuel pump .

Get a phat intank pump and i bet the problem goes away .

if it is the fuel pump, why would it only do it at a lower rpm and only on the first time i spray? if it is starving i would figure it would keep leaning out through the whole rpm range

No , its just on the initial hit of the nitrous .

I used to watch my pressure drop bad when spraying a 175 but then it would come back up .

Its a momentary thing .

And sooner or later you will need a bigger pump anyway .

mine does the exact same thing.. hesitates for a second and then goes perfect.. havent figured out exactly what it is but i have a 255 in tank walbro and still have the same thing... i think it might be the air in the line between the noid and nozzle being sprayed into the intake for a split second throwing stuff off..

well i had 2 kits on my truck a dry and wet and when i sprayed my dry it would bog and i was like wtf so i sprayed both kits from a roll and it was fine but i later noitced that when i sprayed the dry kit my air fuel would jump up to 17to1 real quick then i would get in to the wet kit and it would bring it back down to 13.1to1 when it should of been around 12.5 i wound up taking the kits off befor i coud put my fuel pump in i am pretty sure i was maxing out the stock fuel pump with over 500 to the wheels on lots of gas
