I was at the track running and hit the nitrous going into second gear (weak 10 bolt afraid to break it at the time with 200 shot) and by the end of the track the car was cutting out and running like crap. Found out I burnt a valve and that was it. I think i got lucky myself becuase it could have been worse. By the way my car has been apart since that happened in August.

now on the bikes the way mine was set up was when the nos system was armed it uses the horn as the juice activation switch.....so im in line waiting to go and i see someone that i wanted to get their attention....(can you see where this is going) I think i did too many drugs when i was a kid (54 now) cause I forgot that i had armed the system and hit the horn while i was just sitting there at idle .....

the explosion blew off two of the individial air filters and shot out a fireball out the carbs (all between my legs) now there is two airfilters sitting on the gound, one on fire and the other one just smoldering ...lets just say that i have never jacked out any switches on a nitrous system since then...

Well I bet that got there attention better then any old horn. But then again thats one expensive horn.

2 chipped pistons and a huge hole in the head, not an ls1 though. the hole is from detination only and the chips probaly didnt happen at the same time. lets just say the shot was very very large, worked out a few times then once it just detonated.

Was the last reaction in that chain of events a large pile in your pants.
I race my bike when I'm not racing my car. That had to be some scary ****.
At least you kept it 2 wheels up.

That was the Horsepower Engineering C6Z06 they built. One of the forged pistons let go and those are the little chunks blowing out the exhaust. Granted it was on a 300+ shot.
