Scroll up to the PCM PinOut wiring diagram. Its the RED PCM connector, where the Tach output is located.

Straight to the PCM, for 99 model cars its pin 10 on the red plug, white wire I think. 2002's may be different.

Its pin #10 which is a white wire on the red plug. Again look at this link I posted for you, it has all the pin locations for the PCM and where they go.

Do you understand it now? If not scroll down to the second chart, that's the one for the red plug pin-out.

what do you mean by red plug?
the pcm has a grey cover and then has the wires. spliced window switch to pin 10 white wire and it didnt work.

also, spoke with local msd, they're saying i need something to convert the tach signal from the pcm to to the window switch.
i forgot the part number but its an MSD product to convert it.
tried wiring to pcm directly but it did not work.

if you tae the harness off the ecu/pcm there is a blue plug, and a red plug, get to the red plug and then find the number 10 wire, its on the end not in the middle, and i believe when i did my install, it was a white wire, and did this on a 2002 z28
