200 shot on stock bottom end

Default 200 shot on stock bottom end

hey everyone I have a z28 with 125 single nozzle nx kit, full boltons, walbro fuel pumpand and a tr224 cam. Im looking to spray more than a 125 shot, like a 200 shot I was just wondering what I would have to do to spray that or if I can spray that big of a shot.

Dude, I just posted basically the same post! I'm eagerly awaiting some inputs.

I have done some searches and found decent info and there is a decent sticky at the top of this nitrous forum section that talks about our cars and their capabilties. That might help you a little.

Thanks Ive read most of all those but im just wonderin if I need to use a progressive controler or what I need to do so just waitin for more post!!!

Of course a PC would make it easier for the engine to handle, just as it would being staged.
What you need to do is get bigger jets, regap plugs, check tune, consider race gas, split into stages or wire in PC, double check all safety related items for proper function. Fill bottle, check pressure, arm and hold the F on.

thats a no joke i dont have a PC and at 3grand in third the 200 shot feels like it want lift the front and puts you marbles next to your kidneys its intense.

well if you cant pay dont spray is a no joke. tryin to get it all tuned up for the track i blew a piston on my car this weekend 200 shot and h/c shes dont till this winter.
so i stock bottom will take a lot but theres a limit.

Many a stock bottoms have lived long prosperous lives beyond 200...the limit is in the complete setup, not the system and the tuning. If you have a fuel supply to match your power needs, and tuning it will live at 200 for a while.

I agree completely!

I sprayed a 200hp shot last Saturday and my I don't think my fuel system was up to the task or plain and simply it just wasn't tuned for it.

I had no issues spraying 150hp shot, but the 200hp shot wasn't working like I had hoped. The A/F was all over the place......... But I think I may just need some minor jet adjustments. Not too sure though, I was too freaked out to run the 200hp any longer to tune it. So I put the 150's in and had no problems with my A/F.

Just thought I'd give you my experiece since we kinda both were wondering from the beginning.
