I know a few people with ZEX products. There carb stuff is great but there nozzle kits are ok.The nozzle kits just don't do as much rwhp as others. If your a first time get the Zex kit and have fun. Then when you learn what your doing use it as a second kit.

I had a Zex kit on my car for about a year. I was spraying a 100 shot on a cam only 98 A4 car with LT's and a Yank 3000 stall. It went 11.32 @ 121 with 1.78- 60ft.. So I have nothing bad to say about the Zex kit..

I had a Zex kit for a good while.
Bad
1. Zex bottle heaters suck, I bought a a/c only bottle heater and used a ac/dc convertor to power it. Heated to 1100psi in about 20-25mins from 650psi.
2. Purple is kinda gnarly looking.
3. The "Box" is a little bulky and hard to hide
4. Marketed as 'safer' than other systems, but it's not.
Good
1. Electronic WOT switch is MUCH better than a TPS switch
2. Easy to hook up, only 3 wires, idiotproof
3. Uses NX style pills, which are generally cheaper so you can customize your own shot for almost nothing.
Also, it will jet to 185hp. I talked to a knowledgeable rep, that actually tested the systems, and he said the solenoids are good for 185hp, in fact he sent me the exact jet sizes he used for a 185 hit if I ever wanted to spray it. The highest I went was 150 though, so I can't verify it personally, although I imagine he wouldn't lie to me and send them to me for no charge to try.

I had zex myself it was a great kit for a beginner. And cheap. It did great for a little while but my dynotune kit is much stronger. The 75 wet shot hits much stronger than my 125 dry zex. I found the zex kit very easy to hook up and the box hid very nicely under the fuse boxes purple is a little gay but i painted the bottle orange. One thing about zex I like there wiring into the tps much better than making a bracket that goes under the pedal.
