If it's going on a stock bottom end it would be WAY overkill for you application, and a whole lotta cheddar.

But, it is one badass intake, from the pics I have seen.

ive been wondering the same thing lately...only with a decent or good set of heads. hell, the boosted guys seem to have good luck with these things from what i understand. why couldnt it hold a good bit more than a stock ls1 bottom? anyone know what the weak points for these motors are offhand? after hearing what some boosted guys have done with them i dont see why a good breathing one wouldnt hold 300 or a little more?

the week points in a 6.0 stock are the pistions, then with 300 worth of spray compaired to boost. think of turbo as you standing infront of a train that is stopped. then it slowly starts moving, and it pushes you over and slowly runs you over.

think of spray as that same train going 200 mph and you step infront of it and bang gone!!!!!!

thats what your stock rods would feel like with 300 worth of spray

so you dont think a stock bottom 6.0 would hold as much spray as a stock bottom ls1? what about a stock crank with rods and pistons, or would the crank need to be replaced as well?

i was kinda lookin at doin something like this for a budget nitrous motor build (oxymoronic, isnt it?) that would handle the occasional big shot. what size heads would be a good size for a motor like this, and if im gonna have to upgrade the rotating assembly, what would be a good stroke and compression to run. i was really looking to setup a car that runs like a scalded ape at the track, yet could be daily driven. granted, down here "street car" and "daily driver" are VERY loose terms, and im willing to deal with alot of hassle when it comes to a street car or a daily driver. i would like to keep my ac for the wife and kid, so turbo as much as i would like to do it, isnt really for me.

100-125 is safe and plenty of spray. Keep the 150 jets for the track only, anything more and you're asking for a new motor.

All of the above is under the assumption you'll be pulling timing and monitoring A/F.

i say the stock ls1 and 6.0 will handle the same. i hit my stock block with stock crank with 300 last year. i had good pistions, good rods, and good heads, car went 9.4 @ 144

again this year i stuck with ls2 alum block for the weight, and it handled the power just fine. imo not worth the extra weight of an iron block
