Default MSD Digital Window Switch Problems

Well I finally got my nitrous kit put back on and put on a new msd digital window switch..and was just wondering how to set this up..on the on rpm i put 3000 and off was 6500 and the #cylinders for 1, (so says msd) but when the motor is on it reads 0 and does not work..yes the arming switch is on..red wire pos 12 volts, black wire ground, white wire tach, yellow wire to the relay..does the grey wire need to be hooked up too?? is this not set up right or what??

if the car is off its will read zero. if its on it will read the rpm. since its reading 0 ur ground, relay and power are ok. i would look in to the tach signal. i had that problem once i just had to move the tach wire a bit and it started to work fine.

urs is reading a # 7 or 700? because mine reads the whole rpm, if mines at 650 it will read 650 on the display.
