Nope, didn't see that one! I usually try not to overlap posts with other vendors but it's really hard to do now. Especially when the sponsor list on the right is actually twice as long as the post list. We're all packed in this area now. I didn't scan through the posts either. It was just a quick post and move on

i'm not sure i'm understanding what is going on with NX pricing. can someone clarify this?

 

If I just recieved a 4% raise does that make the NX price increase a virtual 1%?

The real question is to outfit the 73 Charger with NX goodies before the virtual 1% increase or wait for a Promotion (They may call me...CAPT BEER ) that could be an additional 5% raise which may make the 5% NX increase seem like a virtual 4% NX price decrease

Beer Well sort of because you need to take into consideration the lovely govenment taxation you will pay on that 4%, most likely rendering you with 2%?

Plus the wife's spending may increase too...so the NX increase of 5% could be a virtual increase of 10% or even more

Actually, it would be a 2.6% take home increase after the gov gets their cut. So in the end you'll be paying 2.4% more

I think that depends on your state and fed, it can be upwards of 45-50% in many cases Darn uncle sam

So when you calculate in the wife factor and her KNOWING you recieved a 4% increase she will automatically adjust her spending to 8% so add that to the 5% and you're at 13% increase!! loss!

That's ok, I keep all of my finances seperate. I pay for the house, utilities, insurance, my cars, trucks and other toys. She takes care of her car, food and child care (3 kids). She doesn't ask me for any $ and I tell her she should put out more. Anything that the tax man doesn't get it a good thing!
