nos nitrous jetting
hi guys i got a nos kit on a 2001 ls1. It is not the new plate style one, it uses two foggers tapped into throttle body. At the moment i got 50/27 in both foggers and its way too rich. I want to run 150 threw it and being told 63/32 jetting is the way to go, i also run a walbro intank pump if that changes anything. Really want to get well into the tens after running 11.18@122 with old jetting.Any info would be appreciated
Thanks Leigh

I want to clarify. Do you have two fogger nozzles with two jets in each? What was the air:fuel with the 50/27? That should have been really lean.
Our jetting for a 150HP on a twin fogger is 46/38 which will be rich for an LS1.

Kyle is right that 50/27 in 2 nozzles would be like running 70/38 in a single nozzle which doesn't seem like it would be all that rich. Which nozzles are you using if they are the B nozzles that might help explain the rich condition. That nozzle tends to be a little restrictive at those jet sizes. I wouldn't recomend using the 62/32 that would be for a single nozzle.

Kyle, yes i have to foggers with two jets in each. I cant remember what fuel ratio was as i dont tune it my self. dont know which nozzles im running, but car has been dynoed and tuner said its very rich.

For those reading along, the math for calculating changing from known single jets/single nozzle to dual jets/dual nozzles is in the sticky first post on jetting tables. Also, math for going from dual jets to single jets is there.

kyle ive found the kit numbers. the kit was suppied to me about a year ago.
117nos nissan 300zx non turbo 1990kit
05000NBnos power shot basic half kit.
They are the two packs i got.
Any way went out the drags last night and ran a best of 11.04 @ 124
only went 98mph at half track had 5 passes on the bottle still looks really
rich. jetting was 63/28. bottle pressure was 1500 on first pass and about 900 to 950 for the next 4.
