One thing will change, the safety factor. It's an old wives tale that wet hit's harder, not true. Why do you want to change over? there must be a reason?

I've always kind of looked at in comparison to plates and direct port on carburetor setups. A wet kit would be like a plate and may feel more violent off the line than a dry kit or a direct port set up but doesn't really make anymore power. The difference may lie in how well everything is distributed. Direct port and dry kits tend to be a little more even in how and when the fuel and nitrous are introduced into the cylinder. I believe this is what leads to "softer" initial hit but doesn't mean it makes less over all power.

Here is where I think the dry doesn't hit thing comes from. The NOS 5177 being the most popular dry kit is rated at the crank (I have run 3 of these kits), so a 100 shot really dosen't compare to the other kits that rate at the rear wheels. second, the same kit has long lines and split to dual nozzles, which slows things down a tad. So, this was a complaint that has turned into a old wives tale, which I am proving wrong. Check my web site for the latest dry dyno sheet, 636tq right from the get go on a 170rwhp shot, on a bone stock long block.

Whywhine, this link should give you some insight. If you have any questions, let me know. Basically you just need to make sure your fuel system is up to par ie: injectors, pump and then a/f and kr checked.
