I have the FJO 2 channel wide and and love it. I would not spray with out it. It has a built in window and TPS switches. It will also data log. But the best thing is you can choose the air fuel ratios and if it gets richer or most importantly, leaner than you want it will shut the nitrous system down.

Great peace of mind and darn cheap insurance if you think about what a motor costs to fix or replace.

I'll be calling. Out of all the research I did before going nitrous, this was the piece that I just couldn't figure out.

- Which one do I buy?
- Is it one piece or multiple pieces?
- How does it connect?
- How does it interact with my other components?
- Do I need a laptop?
- Do I need a pillar gauge?

Multiply these questions by the number of different units and I just decided to jet on the safe side and read plugs.

I went with the LC-1

When I buy one for the 73 Charger I will likely go LM-1 so I can easily remove it from the Charger and use it in my Avalanche.

The Wideband comes with a controller, wire harness and the O2 Sensor. You will need to have a Bung welded in (included with the LC-1) the exhaust to use the WB O2 sensor. The gauge is extra.

The instructions are readily available from the Innovate site
http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/s...C-1_Manual.pdf

http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/s...LM1_Manual.pdf

Laptop is only needed to troubleshoot or log data

Pillar gauge is nice. Run about $60-70, got mine from Summitracing

Not a Nitrous user so I wont vote in the Poll... just stopping in.

I use the LM1. Its very easy to set up and maintain. I have it mounted to the windshield via the bracket Innovate makes for it whenever I am tuning my car and have integrated it into EFIlive. For now I am reading from the tailpipe.

Its big enough that I can easily see my AFR without looking at the laptop while I log.

Beer, thats a very clean LC1 install. I like it. You, sir, are obvioulsy someone who takes pride in a job well done.

Here is a Shot from my first spray w/42's

You can see the PCM commands 11.7 (AFR:1) shown by the yellow line, and the wideband (AFR_LC11) is fluxuating around 10.5-10.7 as the Light Blue line.

This was before tuning, and was a 75 shot Dry.

I thought that the lc1 had all the capabilities of the lm1 as long as it was hooked to a laptop, since it does include the software...or am I just stupid...

If it doesn't then what capabilities does it leave off assuming I always have a laptop connected...

beer, excuse me for being tuning deficient but what program is that?

The LC-1 does have logging abilities with the Innovate software for AFR and you can use a laptop with it. To set up a LC-1 and use the gauge in car a laptop is not required.

The screenshot is from EFI Live Scan V1.

Whats nice about the LM-1 is it has a built in gauge, and its is a whole lot easier to wire/easy to remove (plugs into a power port/lighter) vs the very ground sensitive hard wired LC-1.

The LM1 can also use a remote gauge, and mount box in glove box. What the best benifit of using the lm1 is it's handheld capabilities. Just get the tail pipe sniffer and you can use it on any car/bike.
Here's mine on the optional windshield mount, and also wired into laptop. I can log live onto gauge, and/or log onto computer into lm1 software or into HP Tuner. You can also log things like fuel pressure, nitrous pressure, rpm or what ever you like with or without computer. The lm1 supplies some nice software for cross referencing your inputs into/onto graphs. The lm1 is more of a add in tool for the mechanics type, whereas the lc1 is more vehicle specific.

Ok well lets just make this simple, I want to log everything beer shows on the screenshot, That's the perfect display screen for a nitrous setup. To do that I would need an lc-1, laptop, and efi live/hp tuners or similar?

Correct amundo.

Or, you can log upto IIRC, 7 parameters on the LM1 and then load them onto your desk top comp using the LM1 software/tuning program. Saves the cost of laptop and a tuner program. May or may not suit your needs?

That requires the auxilery input box from innnovative to log different engine parameters right? Thank alot for all the help, you've made it real easy to choose a setup...you don't sell the innovative products do you?
