Default Combination window switch/WOT switch

Anyone make any recommendations on a product that acts as a window switch and WOT switch?

I'd prefer the WOT to operate off the TPS, and would like to be able to set the activation window without using pills. Just trying to keep the install a little cleaner, and thinking I might be able to get some electronics with more features by buying a combination unit.

This will work very well for you and also add a multi gear lockout feature.

I would just get this http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...del=84&dept=11 it has a wodow switch,WOT switch and a progressive controller for around the same as a few window/WOT switch modules out there. BTW I'm very happly with mine. It makes for a simpler install.

Exactly the type of electronics I was looking for. Thanks for the info guys. How does the multi-gear lockout work on the dynotune unit? Watches for a cycle of the WOT?

This is for an M6 car if it matters.

I believe it monitors tach sweep after WOT, it watches the RPM increase then when it sees the sweep decrease it counts that as first gear (etc for second and third).

I have the dynotune one, works very well. The gear lockout works off how many times it sweeps past the window (i.e. you can lock out first by having it pass your upper rpm limit once before activating, then you can lock out the fourth sweep past your upper limit to catch 5th gear lockout). I'm sure Dean can tell you more!

hmmm, I may look into running one of those set ups. I'd rather have one of those instead of a microswitch.

BTW, The FJO has a first gear lockout function as well. FYI. Good luck.

The noids do not actually hook to the TPS sensor.
This should help better describe the wiring for our unit.

The TPS wire goes to the throttle posision sensor on the throttle body.

so do you just run the midle wire from the arming switch directly to the relay bypassing the wot switch all together so the realy knows that atlest the system is armed when its tunred on, then when the propper throttle position is detected (.5 volts or something) it will send the signial (white wire) to the realy telling the noids to spray. Is this correct?

I'm wondering about the above question as well, shouldn't this eliminate the need for a standard WOT switch? This unit looks nice and tidy, but I don't want to have to worry about my old switch failing and not activating the system.

I just got this and from the diagrahm I got it does not show a wot switch, it shows a wire going from the unit and then spliced to the relay and to the arming switch. So basically when you arm your system your just turing the unit on. Now when the unit detects WOT it will now spray. Looks like a pretty nice piece. I will hopefully be installing it tomorrow.

If you are not using a wot switch just ignore that part of the picture.We have the wot switch shown in the diagram incase someone does not want to use the TPS feature.
