To the best of my knowledge there are two styles. One is the solenoid style and the other is the mechanical style. The solenoid style will not physically open the bottle valve but the mechanical style will. There are a handful of variations of the mechanical style opener out there, here's ours.

That's the only two I've ever found. I have both. My mechanical looks just like Matt's above... oh ya, that's 'cuz I got it from them. LOL. I did have to modify it a little though. I had to open up the diameter that goes around the bottle because of the paint on my bottle. It was diggin in a little. I didn't want to scratch it up.

The noid type can be a restriction if going bigger shot. The mech takes a tad bit longer to open. We have a brand new mech/elect style that fits all bottles.

Just to add to Robert's comment we use to sell the solonoid type also but many customers had issues and typically upgraded to the style that opens the bottle. Here is our current opener which we feel is the best on the market.

But stay tune we finalized the drawing for our new opener and will be machining and testing shortly. Yes it will work with all bottles!..

Nitrous Direct's 15lb bottle. It probably would have fit fine had I not painted my bottle. I just had to "egg shape" the neck clamp a little more than it was.

Dynotune opener here, love the quick disconnect (thumbscrew), and built in valve wheel so when the opener is disconnected, you can still open and close the bottle valve for refilling with the machined wheel, no tools required. NO SHARP EDGES either

yeppers. They did a nice job painting it but laid it on a little thick. My "nostalgia" girl was my own touch. (I have too much time on my hands and cruise through ebay quite often..LOL)

Hard to get pics that show the whole bottle and the girl. By the time you get the bottle, the girl is kinda small.
