Default Is anybody just doing spray + stall?

If so, what kind of times are you all getting? I was thinking about doing an 02 WS6 with just spray and stall for a bit. I'd love to hear some times, and how satisfied you all are.

my trannys slips if i spray through my shifts so you might wanna look into a shift kit if you plan on doin that lol or just a built trans.....but for the most part i'm extrememly happy just with exhaust, intake, and 100shot. If the weather is right i should have some times slips up for you sunday......

You shouldn't be spraying through the shifts to begin with. Get a window switch and have the nitrous turn off about 200rpms before the car is supposed to shift. You're tranny will love u for it and last a lot longer.

I was thinking having a window at 3k-6k and that was it.

yeah you'd probably be fine with something like that. I have a 4l60e and a 3500 stall I'm gonna sell pretty soon so if you are looking for something u could maybe put a shift kit in or something. Just an fyi

instead of this full out race car type, i wish i had my old '98 Z28 back.

full weight car
stock 3.23's in 10bolt
stock rims all the way around with 16" e.t. streets(hell of a street race car)
stock trans with a Vig3200 in it
stock exhaust
stock cats
stock manifolds
stock LS1 intake
stock TB
MTI lid
Hypertech only to raise shift points
TNT 100 shot wet kit
leather interior

went 11.54@116mph on a 1.54

I loved street racing that thing. didn't look or sound like anything.

Yeah i had true duals on stock manifolds, 3400 stall, and a 150 nx wet shot on street tires ran a 12.07 @ 119

I no longer have that car. I had stripped a ton of weight out of the car, rigged up the old style 6v battery booster to run the fuel pump off of 18v when the nitrous kicked in, and was aiming to run the 150 shot. but never got a chance to race it. probably would have blown something.

but yeah, i'd do it again in a heartbeat if i had spare money that wasn't being shoved into the '99 Z. they were the chrome 5 spoke 16" wheels too no one could tell the difference. even with only 700psi in the bottle it still went 11.78

God i'm wanting that car back SO bad now.

I've got header, CAI, mufflers, a 3200 fuddle, and a 100hp dry shot. I've got a window switch to lock out the shifts and I ran a 12.09 the first time out. That's with out spraying at all while the tranny was in first gear. I had 1st gear locked out with the window switch.

HP Tuned - Shift points, shift delay, rev limiter, lowered the timing a touch.
Stock Manifolds
Stock Y-pipe
Stock LS1 intake
Stock 10 bolt with 3.23's
Weighed 3280 without me in the car
Stock Chrome Wheels

Went 12.2x@109 1.65 60'on nuts, 11.2x@120 1.55 60'on MAF kit, 10.7x@128 1.54 60' on both stages

10.7@128 on both stages? What do you mean? You were spraying a total of 225 on a stock motor? That sounds nuts!

It's all in the tune... plus a 100 dry shot u won't see a whole 100 out of it. I wouldn't suggest doing that unless u plan on a rebuild soon though lol.

A good amount of people have gone big on the stock bottom end. Proper fueling and timing will get you there. All big shot runs were on VP C-10 Unleaded, lol, and there weren't many @ 6 bucks a gallon. The car is still alive and kicking. The current owner reports no problems with the car.

now that's what i'm talking about. that's AWESOME!!! mine was done 5 years ago so i didn't have the ability to play with HP Tuners since it wasn't out yet.

Wish I would have been able to take it a bit further like what you had posted!!!

We'll see what the Vette's got in the spring time. I'm going to run a similar combo, slightly more gear, slightly bigger converter.

Oh, and the 100 shot was 100 minimum as it was a wide open line off a super powershot sized solenoid.
