Testing carb plate tomorrow We finally are getting everything wrapped up, but the combo is:
stock bottom end
PG with Chance bolt-together converter
stock heads
232/234 615/618 cam
GMPP ported intake
sheetmetal elbow
NW90
NX gemini twin carb plate...very trick looking piece.
Holley blue pump running the above
We are going to start with a 150 shot...which is really the second stage. Once that is tuned in, we are going to hit the first stage, which is a 200 shot. If all goes well, we'll blend them together
I'd like to make at least one pass with it and see if I can get some low, low 6's. When this motor goes BOOM, the ET headed 396 is going in!
Any words of wisdom from the pros?

Sounds like a nice set up.
I'd be suprised if it holds both.... the plate kits I've seen make more than advertised power (200 shot make 225 to the wheels) which is like a 300 shot to the motor.
But it should make for a hell of a show

We did some pulls tonight.
355 on motor
550 on a 150 shot
650 on a 250 shot.
This is with around 10 degrees pulled out and a VERY rich AFR. I think getting the AFR up to where it should be, it will make around 670. I want to put some fresh bottles on and make sure it is all ok. It will be a week or two before I get it out to the track.
This looks be a killer setup so far. Plugs looked great. It could handle some more timing, but I'm going to leave that area well enough

Which Gemini Twin are you running? The Stage-six or pro-power? Just wonderin as I am in the market for a NX kit. I am selling my fogger system to fund the new plate system. Thanks!
