If your going to spray on that gear, I wouldn't go with that tall! That's just me though. Other's do, but most change them out to 3:73 when they get more power.

Look at it this way, 4:10's will get you about 127mph! That can easily be exceeded with the correct H/C combo, all the typical bolt ons, and a good shot of N2O.

I have some seriously outdated H/C combo, and I'm trapping 128 with my 3:90's. I have some gear left.............but not much. I figure I can hit 131-132mph with my 3:90's. But I plan on spraying about 50hp more than I am now. Just some things to think about.

Agreed, I don't even have heads yet on the car. I'm looking more into the future. With a set of heads, and supporting mods etc etc can a 4.10 be used. I see a lot of people switch them out for 373's.

However, the rears I am looking at and would buy the 9inch and the s60 don't offer a 390 or 373 gear. It's a 354 or 410
