Default Dyno With Nitrous Lock or Un-Lock Converter?

Just Curious. Especially ON the Nitrous Run, 100 Shot Wet. Do I leave the Converter Unlocked? Someone said leaving ti locked could be bad and mess it up??

Any of you guys know??

Cool. some shops that don't do a lot of nitorus don't know, this one is GREAT, but they don't do many nitrous cars so I better makre sure I tell them NOT TO LOCK IT Manually.

Rig the TC lockup on a momentary switch and allways lock it at the torque peak. Unlock on the shift.

Depends on the converter, some are designed to be locked at WOT while most are not. Unless you have been tuned to lock @ WOT or are running a conversion on your Trans you’re not locking @ WOT on the street, so why lock it on the dyno?

You'll get higher power reading on the dyno with it locked,
but converters don't always survive.

Either way, if it sees ANY slip it's just gonna unlock anyway...

That's a good way to tear one up. If it slips it *NEEDS* to release.
