Whatever oil is good for NA or you like, just change it more frequently. I changed mine every month when: I sprayed 12-15x a weekend every weekend of the month.

I just run regular pennzoil or valvoline HD40, but I am spraying a large shot and change it very often (which is why I stopped using synthetic, **** is too expensive to change all the time)! I used to run Mobil 1 0-40 though when I had the stock bottom motor in the car and was only spraying a small shot.

If you use a good quality oil i dont think it matters who makes it as long as you change the oil often .

When i see the clarity of the oil go away i change it .

Castrol Syntech blend 10w30 here .

I used to use M1 5W30 but the car would burn through a qt after a day at the track. Switched to M1 0W40, stopped burning oil but my oil analysis' were showing alot more bearing wear. Then I switched to Amsoil 5W40 and everything is good.

OK, my brother pulled me (kicking and screaming) into Wal-Mart (I cannot stand the toothless wonders / customers that W/M attracts!) for oil; that's where he'd pick up a 5 quart container of M1. He's been using M1 exclusively on his 04 GTO. I was gonna' get a jug too for my 96 Formula, but there was also some brand new Valvoline or Pennzoil "Platinum" full synthetic oil there for less than $19 – we picked up 2 jugs and 2 filters.

After running that stuff for about 2 weeks my brother mentioned this mileage increased 2 MPG! This was last fall, and he's seen a consistent 2 mpg increase in his mileage since he switiched.

FYI – Cheaper full synthetic oil and better gas mileage – who could ask for more!

MLE
