Default What kind of DP setup would you use??

It's time for some N20 and I'm looking at ideas for some direct port setups. I'm thinking a 2 stage setup (good to a 400 shot but I'll more than likely stick to around 250) with an idependent fuel system. I want a really clean looking install that will not affect how the car runs NA. What are you guys running and what/who would you recomend, just want some ideas.

Anyone run a DP?? Or any sponsers want to sell one with a recomended setup?

the kit isn't gonna really effect how the car runs n/a but teh tune that you will have to use for a DP 250 shot certainly will.

There is no real single kit that will do what you are looking for, it woul dhave to basicially be 2 DP kits installed around each other.

Nitrou dave does some very nice plumbing work for stuff like that, and will make it however you want really.. if you can dream it up he probably can make it for you.

Edlebrock also did a VERY nice setup for eastside a couple years ago, they might be able to tell you who to get in touch with there about that setup. it had 2 seperate fual pressure regulators, etc.etc. and was very trick.

Alot will come down to how much $ you want to spend too.

Cold fusion has a great kit for a good price. I suggest pluming it yourself it may take you some time but it's rewarding to do it yourself.

We carry all the NX DP kits as well as all the CF DP kits. Take a look around our site. We can also do plumbing, but doing it your self will save $$.
Let me know if I can help further, once you have an idea of what you may want to run.

If your going two stage, with Direct Port as one Stage, I would do a Dry shot/Direct Port, you already have larger injectors. Would do about 100 Dry shot, and use the stand alone for balance of what you want w/ the direct port.

Dave of Nitrous Outlet is the man for custom Direct Port work .

The neatest thing about two stage IMHO is the ability to do a small/modest shot, or the combined big shot, with the flip of a switch

I don't have a direct port, but I've been thinking about buying the NXLs and setting it up like NOS did in their NOSzle kit, or buying the NOSzles. Not the entire kit, just the eight pieces I'd need and whatever else doesn't come in a standard wet shot kit. I'm thinking about this route because you hardly see people that type of setup and I like to go out of my way to be completely different sometimes. Of course, that'd be just one stage.

Thanks for jumping in here guys, looks like I need to make some phone calls.

After a bit of research, maybe I should use a progressive instead of a two stage, might make the setup a bit easier.

I really like the progressive on my car....makes adjusting for track conditions very easy
