Exclamation Help

(00 Z) i'm runnin a 125 wet NOS kit and i'm having horrible backfiring when i'm decelerating after i spray. I also pulled some of the plugs today after i got back from the track and they all had a blue (rainbow) look to the tips of them....one was completely white, and one was even yellow near the bend of the plug. i just bought a timing tuner so that i can retard the timing. i'm hopin this will help, any other suggestions to what this might be from?

Sounds very lean. Check your fuel solenoid and jet size. Your plugs should be 'dirty' color.

i just installed my timing tuner today and i back'd the base timing 3 degree's retard. i haven't spray it yet to see what it will do tho. Do you think it could of been just a timing issue, and not so much of a fuel problem?

matt, i think some of the back fire is you getting off gas fast and the unburnt fuel from the spray is causeing it. all so i whould look in to a bigger fuel pump, and even find some used 98 injectors since there 28's to your 26s.

allso did you hook up timming tunner to where you can leave the base spark at 0 and use the retard futcion to where it only takes out timming when system is armed

i'm running tr6's gapped at 35. yes i hooked it up to where it will only turn on the retard function when i'm spraying. Even if i'm not spraying tho when the rpm's are coming back down past about 3k if i tap the gas it'll backfire and shoot a flame out the exhaust. i still haven't sprayed it yet with the timing tuner, but is there a possiblity that this doesn't have that much to do with timing and more to do with fuel? Is there anything i can do to make what i got pump more fuel if that is the case????

I'd try some 7's gapped at .032. You could use a Kenne Bell Boost-a-Pump to deliver more fuel with the pump you have now.
