Default Big Shot

I am currently running a 125 shot through my stock bottom end and am looking to go big, 300 shot and bigger. I know that this has been done with a stock bottom end. However, i dont wanna risk my daily driver and blow my expensive motor. So, I am looking to rebuild the motor. I have no clue where to start. What kind bof compression do i want to be running? Do i need to change my valves, springs, rockers, pushrods, etc? Should any work be done to the block itself? What kind of cam should i have, fuel pressure? Basically, what needs to be done to eliminate the thought of my LS1 blowing? Any help is greatly appreciated

Forged internals, cam for your NA desires, no need to change valves although they will aid in airflow. Need upgraded springs and pushrods with the cam. Block needs a hone. Stock fuel PSI is OK, you need upgraded fuel pump though unless you run a stand alone fuel tank for the nitrous or you go with a dry shot. Good tuning is needed.

You need a fuel pump and injector upgrade for a bigger dry shot

thanks for the info, any recommendation on the brand of some good pushrods and springs, and as far as the pistons and rods go, are no aftermarket ones needed?

my setup is all under my posts, and as far as switches go, i used a switch to arm the system, and a button to activate the nitrous, if you were gonna run a purge kit, the kits normally come with a switch

..

I still recommend moving the rings down and opening the gap on anything that big.
