Default calling all fjo guys

I'm using my fjo mini controller for the first time in a couple of hours. In the direction booklet it says that the rpm multiplier should be set at divided by 4. but from what I have been told id that it should be set at divided by 2 because of the sparks per revolution on the ls1. someone please help. thanks to all in advance who can help

I set mine for divide by 2 with the signal input coming from the tach signal. I had the same problem as you when I first set it up.

What FJO are you running? I just ordered their dual channel wideband. Do you like yours?

Set it like a 4 cylinder. The LS uses a 4 cylinder tach input so any tachs or RPM based items need to be wired like you would for a 4 cylinder car.

If you are connecting to a coil ls1 use times 2, and if on the tach signal divide by 2. this is becuase the tach signal is on ls1 it looks like a 4cylinder signal..

Thanks for everyones input. The controller is getting the signal from the computer so it should be set at divided by 2 and it works great. I am very happy with my controller. I was a little sketchy at first but once you play with the program a little I'm very happy with it.
johnny5 thanks for the link, I have not looked at it yet but I am sure that I will find a lot of new information. Thanks again
