I've installed a NXL kit on a buddies car, it's a little time consuming to install it, depends on your attention to detail, but the results are worth it! The kit is very intimidating, and it pulls VERY hard (compared to a Nozzle kit), the only thing that sucks about the kit is when it is first activated it has a dead spot for about half a second then just comes in like a freight train! NX has a fix for it. It's a fuel accumulator and I think it sells for around $125...not sure on that. But that is supposed to completely eliminate the dead spot. Haven't got it yet, maybe someone else can chime in here.

I found that accumulator with the above link. They want $675 for it. I'm going to try and find more info on it. It just looks like it hold excess fuel in the chamber and bleeds off into the fuel system at high demand. At least that my guess.

For an extra 675 on top of the kit you might as well get something else from them. They have so many nice kits. Another thing of note is that the way the rails are they won't fit on a fast 90 intake.

Maybe NXRicky can tell us if NX is still selling the accumulater and give us the current list price for one. I have found three wildly different prices and have no idea what I should ask for my used one.

I was told it was about $200
I'm thinking of getting one myself (for my nitrous outlet 90mm platekit)

BTW,
I had the NXL kit,
got it in trade, then when trying to get it installed,
figured out that the injector cups on the LS2 are different

Thanks for the heads up on the FAST intake. I was going to get one eventually. But if this set up won't work, I will start looking in a different direction.

the accumulator isn't $675.00. they are right inline with nitrous outlet on the price of the NXL kit. just way off on the accumulator.

Yeah, the rails won't fit on the intake. I was looking into getting it a while ago, but decided against it seeing as how it didn't fit the fast 90.

direct quote #2:
"You will not find any problems mating the NXL kit to the FAST intake. This is coming from the guy who is also an engineer for Nitrous Express. Have fun with it man, and when you get the rails on your intake, please send me pics if you can. I wont have my intake until March, that is when I will have some spare time to tinker with my car."

OK guys, I have already talked to Rick at Nitrous Express. I deal with this guy all the time through my shop at Bottlefed Racing in Redlands, CA. I was assured by Rick that the NXL kit will in fact fit onto a FAST intake. To prove this myself, I dry fitted a NXL kit off the shelf onto a FAST intake off the shelf and everything fits. So yes, you CAN bolt the NXL kit onto a FAST intake.

FYI: There is a picture of the NXL kit on a FAST on another older NXL thread.
