Default tuning for a dry spray on a cammed ls1??

alright my camaro makes 407 rwhp, i want to add a 75-100 shot if nitrous in a dry shot.

i already have ngk tr6 plugs, but i think they are gapped at 50. is this still okay for a 75 shot? i dont wanna have to regap them, its such a pain in the *** to pull these plugs on an ls1 lol.

anyways, as far as tuning, i have a local dyno with a\f and everything, so i would do it there. now, would i have to keep 2 different tunes?

like a n\a tune and a nitrous tune? and just upload it to the car when im going to do either or?

i currently have done my tuning with ls1 edit, and have it set perfect for n\a.

so how do you go about tuning?

Yes, re-gap the plugs. Chances are you'll need larger injectors, so you will have to tune for those. If you advanced your timing more then a degree or two for the cam pull that timing out, if it's only a degree or two the dry shot will usually pull that out automatically. Nothing else to really tune for as long as the NA tune is good.

Since you have a cam yes, you'll have to, or you'll run the duty cycle over 100%. I would suggest a set of 32 or 42 lbers.

its not a hardcore cam, only a .224 thunder racing... i wonder if this nitrous thing is even worth it, i might just stick with my rearend, should get me low 12's. for the extra grand + and possibly screwing **** up, might not be worth it.

extra grand ? A simple dry kit isnt that expensive either is a set of injectors . You will not find a better hp for the buck Once you spray once you will be hooked and so will your car LOL.

I wouldn't be a bad idea to do an upgraded fuel pump, if you go wet or dry. If you go wet you won't need fuel injectors. We carry a few sizes:

Thanks,
