I'm going to be gun shy the next time out .... my last pass was on the bumper and it didnt end up pretty.
Yeah, for some reason I posted that post first, but my internet lost service and when it came back, I looked and it didn't post, so I made this one, but then a day later that one was there and I was like wtf, and didn't want two posts, so deleted it. I'll get them figured out, i'm thinkin I might cut the area out between the top hole and second hole and just make it a sliding adjustment and get it where it needs to be and crank it down real tight to keep it from moving, could that work? Cuz Madman said that they are exactly where he puts them, so he doesn't know why they're not givin me the right adjustments.

I got lucky that everything went smooth, i've had a few I had to let out of (or let out of cuz I was scared and still wasn't really used to drivin through something like that), but I still have the stock kmember on the car and that saved my ***!!!

I dont know about a sliding thing. I'm against the cable style limiter on my car because of stretch.
We bought the Madman kit and moved the Aarm mount out like I said and got a longer chain to make the adjustments smaller. The way he wants it one hole makes to much of a change for us.
His is the best set up but we like to make smaller changes.

I tried driving through it but when you shift and it just STAYS up there .... I had to let off

Good luck with it!

I'll have to see if my buddy can cut it back out and reweld it for me, any pics of exactly where urs is so we have something to go off of? And i'm assuming you just get however long of a chain you need to put it at full extension when in the longest hole, right? Should I get a thicker chain, or same?

And yeah, guess that could be pretty bad if it just stays up there like that, although, so long as she's goin straight and ya still got two wheels on the ground it could probably work, ahahhaha!!!

is it possible to adjust by chain AND the tabs? i've seen pics, but they are blocked here at work, so i'm thinking if you get a different chain that has a smaller length LINK, you could use that as "1/2" adjustments, and then the adjustments on the tabs as the FULL adjustments...
