Default Thinking about jumping into the nitrous group...

I've been looking into getting a dry shot. nothing big only like a 125. Ive been looking around and it seems that the nitrous outlet system is the cheapest, and from everyones opinion on the board it seems like they are great to deal with and have great products. I was thinking of just going with the nitrous outlet LS1 Dry system..

any opinions or suggestions?
thanks

Welcome to the Nitrous forum....

We carry many different dry systems to choose from. The Halo being my favorite. The good thing is that all of our dry systems come with 20ft main feed lines, large 300hp solenoids with purge port, 800hp bottle valve with dual ports, etc. So as you can see we did not get cheap on the quality side of things to keep build cost down.

What all is done to your car?

If your car is stock you should be fine with the stock injectors. If you have a cam you will need injectors. You may also need some computer tunning to adjust airfuel.

I would add a window switch and fuel pressure safety switch for safety.

Then a heater to controll bottle pressure.
A bottle gauge to know bottle pressure
And possibly a purge to purge air out of the main feed line.(optional not as needed as the rest on a dry kit)

Deffintly change your spark plugs to NGK tr6 plugs.

If you end up going with a Halo is comes with some of the acessories. It comes with the bottle gauge, fuel pressure safety switch, nhra fitting and blow down tube.

If we can answer any questions please feel free to hit one of us up.
Dave

Dry is a good choice. Check out the PRO Dry we offer, many advantages over other dry kits, the biggest-it won't run lean, also includes extras that other kits charge extra for. If ya decide on this kit give me a holla and I'll walk you through proper nozzle set-up.

this was a great write up. Probably stuff you've read in other threads, but very good to go over.

I installed an 80 shot in a v6 bird and it was so fing awesome but it was also a bit spooky everytime you hit the WOT switch! Is the fuel regulator working properly? What are the chances both noids fail and stay open? AHHH!

Have fun dude!
