Just wondering if the track density altitude really has as much of an effect on nitrous cars as it does on NA cars? Say for instance I add a 75 shot on my car. Under great weather conditions (-330 feet DA), my car ran a 13.24@104, so we'll guess that it will run a 12.50@110 with the 75 shot. If the conditions weren't as good the next time (say 500 feet DA), would it have as much of an effect on the performace on my car if I wasn't running the 75 shot?

It will but you'll hardly notice the power loss with a 500' DA. Not enough to get your panties in a twist at least. Come up to Colorado and race with a DA of 8000' and you'll want to drive the car off a cliff.

How about if the DA was more like 2000 feet, which is what it usually is durring the summer. How much of a power loss would I notice.
I really ask this because my thinking says that since the nitrous is so cold, it cools the air quite a bit so it won't have much of an effect, but I'm probably wrong.

Your power will still be effected. My "actual" rwhp with a high DA up here is probably around 250rwhp. A 100rwhp shot is 100rwhp regardless of altitude but that would only put a guy like me around 350 uncorrected hp. Whatever your NA figures are would be your starting point. Going by your theory, a 100 shot would make the exisiting DA almost perfect and it would be more like spraying a 175 shot since I would be getting my NA performance back. I hope this makes sense.
