I am not going to argue that the above piston manufactures don't make good piston's, but I think that your logic on JE pistons is flawed ( they own Weisco by the way). Anyway I think that CP Piston's are right up there with Venolia and Aries.

There again, it just depends on the application. Lots of times its a custom piston. There are lots of variables to consider when buying a piston.

I use cp as well, but usually not on small blocks, mostly on big blocks. I don't know who owns who, and don't really care. I just know what I've seen personally between the different manufacturers and know what I prefer, and what I'm going to stay with. The fact is, if you are going to spray under 200-250, pretty much any forged piston will hold up as long as the tune up is right.
