Are Ls1's nitrous freaks? Post Your results!!
Ive been looking at post lately and ive been watching videos of our ls1 cars with just a 100 shot and ive notice that a 100 shot is much more than a 100hp gain for our ls1's. The last video i just saw made 107rwhp with a 100 shot..... and damn, the torque our cars make!!!! with a 100 shot... over 200lbs of torque!!!!! (big up to BuBbaBFP).... Are the results always like this!?... i just got my nitrous kit (wet) and i cant wait to install it and see the results .... I wanna see your before and after w/ nitrous and with what shot!!!

I havent really looked at dyno graphs for nitrous'd cars, do they really gain that much tq from a 100 shot? Are there differences in the amount of tq a dry kit will get vs a wet kit? I'm still workin on finishing up my dry kit and if ima be gettin that much tq i'm going to be bringing some extra underwear for that initial ride.

I had a heads/cam Formula years ago that had the heads and cam designed around spraying and the car made 225rwhp and 255rwtq on a 125 shot Needless to say I backed it down a bit before I sprayed it again on the stock bottom end lol.

Are all NOS kits rated at the rear wheels, or just the wet kits?

the rod gave away at about 1000ft, and everything went to hell from there. the heads were done, the cam was bent, two holes in the block, and the trannie locked up.. waisted 6 quarts of royal purple on the track..
i was spraying a dry 125 on stock block with heads and cam.
i think my experiance was just a run of bad luck though. there are plenty of cars that spray 150 and 175 on stock blocks that never run into a major issues..
if i had a beater i would have the bottle on my car today, but im a freshman in college and i dont have the extra cash to waste on civic or whatever at the moment..
