Quick blow down tube question
Quick blow down tube question Can you use braided steel (flexible) line as a blow down tube? I dont want to drill through my car and would like to route the blow down tube to the opposite side of the car and out the gromet under the spare tire.
yes you can, its -8AN.
One word of caution though- Make sure you use a bulkhead fitting where it goes though the floor. Dont just push it through a rubber grommet. The reason is if you ever pop a burst disc, the hose will whip like a fire hose, except more violent.

We use steel braid blow downs. I had the 2 bottles into a Y then into a bulkhead at the floor. They made me run 2 lines 2 bulkheads, just so u know, some tracks might not like Roberts.
