Default Corvette C6 LS2 Nitrous (newbie)

I have an 07 C6 Corvette with a 6-Speed Automatic Transmission. My car has roughly 1400 miles and is 100% stock. I am looking for a good nitrous system but I don't know what to pay, what brand, etc.

1. What are some good kits?

2. What is the limit my stock LS2 can handle safely?

Any other recommendations would be great!

I like Nitrous Outlets Wet Plate kit.

I did wet and dry on my C-5

I believe Dry is a tad safer, but nothing is a sure bet, its all in a proper install and understanding the importance of proper AFR, Bottle pressure, plugs etc.

Sent ya a PM to an install that Vinny did a few months back on a C-6 for some ideas.

I put a TNT wet kit on a '06 C6 (dual nozzle w/power ring), jetted for 150 shot. It put down 523 RWHP and 612 RWTQ, stock fuel pump.

As much as I LOVE that A6 trans, I've read how they don't hold up too well when pushing more power. May want to read up on that before you spray.

Why do you consider the dry system safer?

I called Lingenfelter and Callaway reguarding the C6 A6 Transmission. Both companies leave their A6's alone, they don't upgrade them at all. Lingenfelter told me an A6 will be good up to 675 HP and Callaway said at least 650 HP.

That's great news... well, not really. Now I really have no excuse not to get one.

Your not flowing fuel through the plastic intake (reduces risk of fuel puddling), lean is what kills the engine, w/ dry the PCM adds the fuel through the injectors, so you pretty much have the right amount of fuel in all the cylinders providing your nozzle position is giving the MAF a good reading, your injectors are capable of the shot your spraying, and you descreened so the MAF does not freeze up and limit the airflow.

Wet is easier to set up and tune IMHO, at least that was my expierence with my car...which I set up both at the same time. Dry I had to come back with bigger injectors to get a safe AFR above a 50 shot.

Regardless of Wet or Dry, you should test the setup on a Wideband and log for KR, and run the correct plug and gas.

Dan, I had a nice reply typed up last night with mucho links for making an informed choice. However, the site was on the blink and I lost it trying to post. I will try to get the info back up later tonight (I haven't forgot ya). Dry is safer with out a shadow of a doubt, but wet can be fine also.
