Just Curious....

Alright...I have a 2001 WS6 full SLP exhaust w/ headers, full SLP intake, and MSD coil packs. I just got a NX kit for my car and I wanna hook up a 100 shot to see how my car likes it...I was wondering if I can still use my Diablo Sport Programer. I know alot of people say nitrous isn't safe at all, but is a 100 shot safe if I don't go over board with hitting the button? I went 12.9 with just exhaust and intake, I'm doing 4.10 gears and a center force stage 3 clutch and billet flywheel....after that and the shot, what do you think my ETs will drop too? I have never used nitrous before and I just need peoples opinions....

w/ a good set of tires, mods in sig and 100 shot i bet you could see sround 12.0 maybe lower. is it a wet shot or dry but you shouldnt really need a tune for spray with only a 100 shot

are your 60' times like 2.2? that is a high trap for 12.9

i would say get some tires first, that will make a huge change

I don't think you will want to run the Diablo Sport Programer because it probably advanced the timing you would be ok with stock timing, but you should probably uninstall the programer

My 60 ft was a 1.9 on the 12.9 pass....but my clutch was kinda shot....so after I put my centerforce in I wanna see where I am....and I just wanted to make sure if I should take the programer out of my car....

Another option is to get the Timing Tuner. It allows you to have the timing advanced to wherever you want it while not on the spray - and automatically retard the timing by an amount you choose when the nitrous is activated.

This will allow you to keep your Diablo tune/timing for most of the time when you are not on nitrous - run safe when the nitrous is activated.
